Heidi Kingman Jewelry’s 10th Year!

Like the metals in my studio, our spirits are tempered, but not diminished by the flames and hammer strikes of our experiences.

Personal growth significantly impacts how artistic brands grow. Looking back on this 10th year of Heidi Kingman Jewelry, I am observing the change from a bold, bright, cheery (and largely untested) force, to something with greater depth, strength, nuance and tranquility. Like the metals in my studio, our spirits are tempered, but not diminished by the flames and hammer strikes of our experiences.

There is peace that comes after familiarity with . . . its opposite. A grateful joy that comes only after weeping in the darkness. Here in my studio a grounded earthiness fills the air of this below-grade space. A soft golden glow radiates off cooling metal, and filters through crystalline gemstones and the lenses of my own experiences. It’s a creative chamber where hammer strikes echo, and my files whisper truths uncovered in the layers beneath their teeth. Where verses are transformed from graphite strokes across bits of paper, into metallic metaphors of hope, peace, joy and resilience.
